Full Pool Leak Detection
Full Pool Leak Detection Cost:
$750
How much does a pool leak detection cost? The full pool leak detection cost is $750.
A full swimming pool leak detection consists of pressure testing your underground pipes, dye testing any trouble areas for structural leaks, and checking your equipment. This comes with a 30-day warranty and the guarantee that if your pool has a leak and we can’t find it, we’ll give you your money back guaranteed.
Single Line Test
Single Line Test Cost:
$395
A more affordable option is the single-line test. This is appropriate in situations where you have a very good idea of what line your leak might be.
For instance, if your pool drops and always stops leaking at the bottom of your skimmers, we recommend a single-line test to pressurize and dye test just that line.

Dye Test
Dye Test Cost:
$395
Similar to the Single Line Test, the dye test checks all cracks and potential trouble areas of your pool using our dye syringe. Dye tests typically don’t take as long as the pool leak detection cost is less. And just like the single line test, if the dye test shows no leaks, we will do a full leak detection on your pool to get the source of your spa or pool leak.
Even if you’ve tried to perform a dye test on your own, you may still benefit from this service. Dye testing is very tricky and temperamental. Sometimes, a crack in a pool can seem to leak one minute and stop the next. A trained professional has his or her eye set on noticing certain cracks and understanding water flow behavior.

Check out the quote from this great article from Angi’s List:
Above ground pools will cost comparatively less to inspect and repair than inground ones. Not only are they easier to inspect from the exterior, but you don’t have to worry about inground plumbing, drains, or pumps. Inground pool leak detection can cost a bit more on average, especially if you need to drain it or inspect complex plumbing.
- Above ground pool leak detection: $100–$700
- Inground pool leak detection: $400–$1,000
